Time-Based Analysis on TradingView

Ask any experienced trader what they focus on, and many will mention the importance of timing. That's why we created TachEon Kronos for TradingView, bringing our time-based methodology to the world's most popular charting platform.

For over 15 years, we've been developing our time-cycle analysis with NinjaTrader users. Now, we're excited to bring similar capabilities to TradingView traders worldwide. Kronos is designed to provide a different approach to market analysis that incorporates an element many traders consider: TIME.

Time-Cycle Analysis Technology

What makes Kronos distinctive? It's built on the same algorithm that powers our flagship WARP software. We've spent years developing this technology, analyzing historical price bars to study recurring time-based patterns in market behavior.

Unlike typical indicators that primarily respond to price movements, Kronos examines potential market turning points based on time cycles. It places signals directly on your TradingView charts, providing insights into when markets might move - sometimes before price-based indicators show changes. This time-based approach can offer a different perspective on how you view and analyze the markets.

Native TradingView Integration

We built Kronos specifically for TradingView's platform. It's engineered to work within TradingView's environment and utilize the platform's features:

  • Application Process: Load Kronos on any chart with a straightforward process
  • Multi-Timeframe Capability: Compatible across timeframes from 1-minute to weekly charts
  • Market Coverage: Available for analysis on markets supported by TradingView
  • Adjustable Parameters: Settings can be tailored to your analytical preferences
  • Pine Script Foundation: Built using TradingView's programming language for smooth operation

How Kronos Works on Your Charts

When you add Kronos to your TradingView chart, it analyzes historical data to examine time cycles. The tool displays:

  • Time-Based Signal Indicators: Visual markers showing potential areas of interest
  • Right-Side Projections: Signals appear on the right side of your chart
  • Directional Analysis: Information about possible market direction at key points
  • Duration Indicators: Estimations of how long potential moves might last

Kronos is designed to be straightforward to use. Once added to your chart, it overlays its time-based analysis where you can see it.

Technology Behind Kronos

Kronos draws inspiration from concepts related to the work of W.D. Gann, who studied how market movements may be influenced by time cycles. While Gann performed calculations manually many years ago, Kronos utilizes modern computing to analyze historical data.

Our approach examines not just price patterns but also temporal aspects of market behavior. This dimension of analysis may reveal patterns that differ from what price-based indicators typically show. Kronos is optimized for TradingView, combining this analysis method with the platform's accessibility and usability.

TradingView Integration Benefits

TradingView has changed how many traders approach market analysis, and Kronos is designed to work within this platform:

  • Cloud-Based Access: View your Kronos analysis from various devices
  • Multi-Device Compatibility: Desktop, tablet, or mobile access
  • Extended Data: Analyze available pre-market and after-hours sessions
  • Global Markets: Access to international markets on the platform
